The Covenant Promise Church

Our Vision

The Covenant Promise Church is a New Testament Church established upon biblical faith and principles undergirded by excellence and integrity.


Hebrews 8:6, “But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.”

We believe that through this better covenant, we are enabled to serve the whole person spirit, soul, and body with the ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, the anointed one. We're empowered by the Holy Spirit to minister to the lost, the poor, the prisoner, and those who find themselves displaced in society. With the teaching and preaching of the anointed Word of God, we expect to encourage a generation that will literally turn the world upside down.

Our Purpose

Warning and instructing everyone in all wisdom so that we may bring everyone into God’s presence complete in Christ Jesus.


A Blessed Experience in Punta Gorda, Brazil

I had the pleasure of preaching in Punta Gorda Brazil and participated in the ordination of a newly installed pastor. The Covenant Promise Church is dedicated to missions foreign and domestic. 

Pastor

Curtis E. Dixon

Pastor Curtis Eugene Dixon was born in Tampa, Florida to the late Mr. Edward Dixon and Mrs. Arie Lee Dixon of Cuthbert, GA. He is the youngest of two siblings.


Pastor Dixon was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Florida A&M University and his Master of Divinity in Psychology and Pastoral Counseling from the Interdenominational Theological Center/Morehouse School of Religion, Atlanta, GA. While attending the Morehouse School of Religion, Pastor Dixon served as the President of the Baptist Student Fellowship and the Student Representative Member of the Board of Directors.


He is a former member of the Beulah Baptist Church of Tampa, where he was baptized by the late Dr. A Leon Lowry who was his pastor, mentor, and friend. Pastor Dixon was licensed to preach the gospel in March of 1995 at the East Friendship Baptist Church, Athens, GA under the leadership of Pastor James Kendrick. Eight months later he was called to Pastor Wares Grove Baptist Church, Cedartown, GA where he met his beautiful wife Elaine McCombs Dixon. He served there for six and a half years, before being called to the Greater Fairhill Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, where he served for nine years and ten months.


The Covenant Promise Church was birthed May 2011. Pastor Dixon is the founder of the Covenant Promise Church and the founder/ CEO of Curtis E. Dixon Ministries. He is also a member of Faith Ministries Alliance under the leadership of Dr. Bill Winston.


Pastor Dixon is an anointed prolific preacher/ teacher of the word of faith. A man that understands the importance of family and is thankful for his relationship with his Lord Jesus The Christ and life partner Lady Elaine and his two beautiful daughters Courtney and Alicia. Pastor Dixon's motto is,


“I don't complain, I just continue.”


 

First Lady

Elaine Dixon

Lady Elaine McCombs Dixon was born to two of God's most awesome creatures the late Henry and Fannie McCombs. She was blessed with two brothers Michael and Christopher. Also, a beautiful beloved sister the late Alicia Renee McCombs. Lady Elaine was born and reared in Cedartown, GA where she attended public schools. After graduating from High School, she furthered her education by attending the University of West Georgia College where she achieved a B.B.A. Degree in Business Administration and has taken courses toward a Master's Degree in Business Administration. She received a Certificate of Bible Studies from Moody College through Greater Fair Hill Bible Institute.

The most important thing to know about Lady Elaine is that she loves the Lord and she's not ashamed to let the world know that He is her Savior. Two of her favorite scriptures are Psalms 23:1: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Matthew 6:33: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Lady Elaine has a burning desire to help others know and apply God's word to their lives. One of her greatest goals in life is to be the person God wants her to be and to be obedient to His calling. Lady Elaine was the Superintendent of the Sunday School at Greater Fair Hill Baptist Church and taught Adult Class # 4. Lady Elaine is the co-founder of The Covenant Promise Church which her husband founded in May 2011. Also, she is the Superintendent of Sunday School and the Sunday School teacher at the church.

Lady Elaine loves people from all walks of life and loves to make people smile. She has great patience for listening, counseling, and giving people words of encouragement. She loves to laugh and has a great sense of humor. Her hobbies are running, walking, talking, traveling, and meeting people.

Lady Elaine is married to the distinguished Pastor Curtis E. Dixon of The Covenant Promise Church. He is her Pastor, lover, confidant, and best friend. She is blessed with a beautiful princess named Alicia, who is the namesake of her late beloved sister. Alicia is a special gift from God and Lady Elaine never tires of being with her.
